As he saw more and more of it, he started to realize that this chunk of steel was attached to a larger item. What could that probably be?

Even worse, what if it were to sink the whole house into this strange empty space? After trying to work some more on the hole, he saw what looked like a human-made item beneath everything. This was when he began to realize that things were even more sinister than he assumed. He pulled his phone out and called for support.

Gerald, his father, hurried to the incident. Without any equipment or professional tools, they started to work on the hole. They managed carefully to get rid of the concrete crack enveloping the piece of metal and found a shaped hole down there. A rusty ladder could be seen descending into the darkness! They really made them feel uncomfortable. Why is there a secret passageway under the driveway? Where it would go, they wondered. In the end, they only had one way of getting the answers to all the questions.

Gerald had a conclusion as to what they were looking at, but it was vital to verify everything first.
